AM 870 KRLA - The Answer

On this episode of The Early Report, on April 26, 2020, State Senator John Moorlach joined Eric Early in discussing Assembly Bill 5. AB-5 was a response to a California Supreme Court Dynamex Decision in determining whether a person is an independent contractor or employee. Senator Moorlach authored a bill (SB-990) to suspend the application of AB-5 under January 2022. Moorlach and Early both agreed that AB-5 was hurting independent contractor's chances of making a living.

Early continued by talking about what it will take to unlock the city of Los Angeles and the state of California. He expressed his thoughts on how much control government is taking over citizen's lives. In addition, Early relayed updated statistics on the actual fatality rate from the virus and demanded that businesses be allowed to open back up.

Additionally, Early received an update from a caller who applied for PPP, took calls from listeners and business owners and answered questions regarding the business shutdown mandates.
