Former Assemblyman David Hadley Endorses Eric Early for California Attorney General
LOS ANGELES, CA – Former Assemblyman David Hadley has endorsed Eric Early for Attorney General, the Early campaign announced today.
“Eric will be an Attorney General for all Californians,” said Hadley. “He will drain the politics from the Department of Justice, put an end to wasteful, grandstanding litigation against the federal government and restore public safety as the number one priority.”
“I’m honored to have David Hadley’s endorsement,” said Eric. “He defeated a Democratic incumbent in a swing Assembly district and knows what it takes to attract independents and moderate Democrats to the GOP banner.”
“Crime is a non-partisan issue, and it’s on the rise in California,” said Early. “Unelected incumbent Xavier Becerra’s top priority is preventing the federal government from apprehending the group of illegal immigrants who have committed violent crimes against Californians. Mine will be protecting all Californians from all criminals.”
Hadley was elected in 2014 to represent the 66th Assembly District, which includes Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills and Torrance. He defeated incumbent Assemblyman Al Muratsutchi. He was the Assembly Democrats top political target in in the 2016 election, in which he lost a re-match with Murasatchi amidst huge Democratic turnout.
Former Assemblyman Hadley joins a growing roster of elected leaders throwing their support to Eric Early for Attorney General. Most recently, Representative Darrell Issa, Senate Republican Leader Pat Bates, Senator Joel Anderson, Senator Scott Wilk, Senator Jeff Stone and Assistant Assembly Republican Leader Phillip Chen have endorsed Early.
All California Republican Party Delegates are encouraged to join former Assemblyman Hadley and other Republican Leaders in endorsing Eric Early for Attorney General. Please download the Delegate Endorsement form, and return the original form to the campaign office.
