Eric Early for California Attorney General Endorsed by Senator Scott Wilk

LOS ANGELES, CA – State Senator Scott Wilk has endorsed Eric Early for Attorney General, the Early campaign announced today.

“Senator Wilk has been a tireless advocate for taxpayers and expanding economic opportunity for the people of California,” said Early.

“I’m running to put the Attorney General’s office back on the side of the citizens of California, unlike the unelected incumbent, Xavier Becerra, who is wasting our time on political grandstanding and destructive ideological crusades,” said Early. “I am grateful Senator Wilk is joining my effort to defeat Becerra and restore integrity and a focus on public safety to the Attorney General’s office.”

Senator Wilk represents the 21st Senate District, which includes the Antelope, Santa Clarita and Victor Valleys. Prior to his election to the state Senate in 2016, Wilk served two terms in the Assembly representing the 38th Assembly District. He is a small businessman and previously served his community as a trustee of the Santa Clarita College District. In 2014, Wilk was the only California legislator selected by the non-partisan, non-profit State Legislative Leaders Foundation to attend the Emerging Leaders Program held at the University of Virginia. The program is geared toward newer legislators that show promise as future legislative leaders.

Senator Wilk joins a growing roster of elected leaders throwing their support to Eric Early for Attorney General. Most recently, Senate Republican Leader Pat Bates and Senator Joel Anderson have announced their endorsements of Early.
